Design Concept
The Shu's Pottery continues deep roots in Yingge over four generations, based on the business philosophy of inheriting old wisdom and bringing new ideas, to deliver good and beautiful things, and never forget the root of Yingge, constantly promoting innovation.
In 2023, the Year of the Rabbit, the Shu's Pottery and the design team of Cocera once again launched a limited product for the Chinese New Year - Osmanthus Umeshu Cold Sensitive Color-Changing Pair Cups Gift Box. Special selection of osmanthus Umeshu brewed by Holy Distillery in Yingge, brings you the elegant flavor of sweet and sour plum combined with floral fragrance.
The wine glass uses Cocera's exclusive cold sensitive color-changing ceramic cup, and the key vision is the flowers planted along the way between the birthplace of early Yingge pottery - Tuzai Keng and the Fuyuan Mountain Trail connected to Yingge, such as peonies, camellias, pingpong chrysanthemums, etc. The picture is a symbol of modesty and elegance, after pouring ice cubes and Umeshu, a hundred flowers and green leaves are in full bloom, while the beautiful rabbits are jumping happily, and the parrot is also among them. The flowers are so colorful and full of energy, waiting for you to enjoy them thoroughly.
Manufacturing process of Osmanthus Umeshu
Strictly selected golden osmanthus flowers from Shiding Township in northern Taiwan above 300 meters elevation, which only bloom from October to April every year.
The Umeshu is aged in oak barrels used to be soaked with bourbon whiskey, and it is distilled and brewed with Dongding Oolong tea shochu as the base. The fresh and rich sweet-scented osmanthus, matched with the sweet and sour taste of plums, and combined with the refreshing aroma of oolong tea, finally bring the aroma of oak barrels blended with creamy caramel, the texture is rich in layers, and the flavor is mellow and charming.
Recommended Drinking guidelines
Umeshu : Tonic Water = 1:1, then add ice cubes.
